Randall Hedtke. 2010. Master Books, 158 pages.
Darwin’s book, On the Origin of Species, went through six editions between 1859 and 1872. During that time, the book changed considerably from the first to the sixth edition. Darwin changed his mind on a number of issues and by the time he finished the sixth edition, he actually gave up on natural selection, itself, as the cause of evolution and reverted back to a form of Lamarckianism. Not many evolutionists know about this. Mr. Hedtke also shows the flaws in Darwin’s assumptions and research and the doubts that Darwin expressed about his own speculations and suppositions.
